i'm pretty sure it does. i hav a phone from LG with verizon also.

when ur on the phone with someone, type in the other persons phone number. with area code.
click send to dial.
when the person picks up, click send one more time to connect the 2nd person with the person you were originally talking to.
If the second person does not answer, press the SEND key twice to end the connection and go back to the first person.
