I have a 3 yr contract with fido on a motorola phone...(cont.)?

So i bought my very expensive phone 6 months ago, but i shortcircuited it so i need to buy a new one because warrenty wont cover it. So what i want to know is can i just buy another fido phone at the "without contract" prices? or will it be even higher because i'm not opening an account with the purchase of a phone.
