When you upgrade a Nextel/sprint phone is there a contract that gives you a certain amount of money off your new phone?

It all depends on your upgrade eligibility. If you've had your phone for 12-22 months, you should qualify for 75 off the purchase price of a new phone, if its been longer that 22 months you should qualify for 150 off the price of a new phone. You can check your upgrade eligibility by going to sprint.com or calling customer care. Keep in mind this requires a new 2 year contract. Recently Sprint has been offering certain Nextel customers an instant 150 upgrade because some customers don't use their direct connect.... But I wouldn't count on it.
