Nextel Motorola i560 Phone. How do I set up Caller ID?

The outside screen shows that I have a missed call but everytime I open my phone to see who it was it shows nothing. Do I have to pay for this service? Should the phone already come with it? Does anyone know how to set it up if I can do it. Please help. This is frustrating. Thanks in advance.
