can i get a Sim card from sprint/nextel?

i have a sprint cell phone and it sucks so i was wondering since nextel and sprint are the same thing if i would be able to get a Sim card from them without having to redo everything? since my sprint phone doesn't have a Sim card in it.

i want a Sim card so i can use my cousins Sony ericson that shes giving me
