Nextel blackberry question...?

I have the 7100i and i cant make outgoing calls it just rings and rings.. Someone told me something to do with the settings that fixed it..
I can't remember what it was.. Anyone with any ideas something simple I just had to reset my phone and can't remember what exactly it was.. Thanks..
