Nextel I880 MP3 player?

I have a nextel I 880 and although it does have a MP3 player and is said to be supported by Itunes, I still can not get it to download music. When I call Nextel all they can ask is "do you have all the correct cables" and the answer is YES. No one seems to know how. Do you?
