Default I lost my cell phone and have a Rogers AT&T plan (Canada). Do I have to buy...

...a new phone from Rogers? Can I use my old Nokia 8260 (from U.S.)? I have had this cell phone for years and I really like it. I have tried unlocking it but cannot generate an IMEI (using *#06#). Do I have to buy a new phone?

You can probably try to see If you can use your old one but since you're on a plan they can track the phone but you shoul talk to them and see what they can do for you.
