Is the iPhone worth dealing with Rogers Wireless?

I'm considering getting an iPhone but unfortunately they are only available through Rogers Wireless. My question is, is Rogers so bad that the iPhone is not worth the trouble of dealing with them?
I should clarify, I will be going to college in Canada this fall, and Rogers is the carrier there.
