Default I will be going to college this august and cannot afford my cell phone, will

Sprint cancel without ETF? I will not be able to afford this because all the money made through work study is going to tuition. Parents can not help pay. Will Sprint cancel my account? Or will they do some sort of student discount for cheap if possible? I've been with sprint for almost two years, although last year I had re-newed for another two years because I had lost my phone and needed a new one. They gave me the upgrade, so techinically it's been one year, but really it was two years. Does that make sense?
