Want to activate a phone but it was in my mothers name and there is an outstanding bill on it, it was technically my phone and I owe her money on it. My friend wants the phone and was possibly going to activate it but my mom and I left sprint and it is no longer active. I had it shut off. However if there is still an outstanding bill on it, even though the phone is still inactive, does that mean my freind cannot activate it?
