Default In South Florida, what cellphone company is a better option: AT&T, T-Mobile or...

...Sprint? Ft. Lauderdale-Miami area to be more precise. I don't like Verizon, their coverage (from the coverage maps) is nearly the same to T-Mobile, and their roaming sucks because they are CDMA. I will need to take the phone to Latin America, so if you have experience with the roaming of your current service please tell me about your experience.

Currently I have MetroPCS and I don't like them at all.

I have AT&T service, and I must say that the service has been outstanding. Whenever I had to call into the service center, the people are always so friendly and I always have had coverage. I have never been to Central America with my cell phone, so I don't know about coverage. Call them up and ask, I sure they can give you a straight answer. Good luck!

I don't know specifically about service in South Florida, but I have had Sprint service for more than 8 years now and I have traveled to Canada, Tijuana, Mexico, Los Angeles, Jamaica, West Indies, Trinidad, West Indies, Alabama, Tazwell, Virginia and last October I was in Cozumel, Mexico. So far I have had no problems and these places I visited are spread out over the map.

It seems that people with AT&T are happy. I have T-Mobile and don't think much of that company, it only works near the interstate highways. I am near Sarasota.
