There are three cell phone users in my house. All on the same plan. My cell phone can send text messages but My daughters new Blackberry wont. It does recieve them though. She has had the same cell phone number for two years or more. She could never send texts on her old phone either. My husbands cell phone also has the same problem. I called T-Mobile and some lady said there was an outage in the area. For two years? This whole situation is making me very mad and I don't know who else to go to for help.

I had the same problem with my older version phone, I think the problem was that the message centre (which should be found in message settings) was different to what it was suppose to be, ring the customer service or operator and ask them the message centre number and if your's differs that'll be why. try that see if that works
