photo problem

hello all i was wondering if y'all could help? i've got a samsung katalyst
and I dont know how to download my pics from the phone to a computer
do i have to have the mem chip or can i do the usb thing and how? i've looked on their site and called them and got tired of waiting for 15 min, can anyone help ?
