need used cellphone for a tmobile SIM card

we are in a bad situation after my husband was almost killed by a 19 year old drunk driver and can not afford other cellphone
my son's cell was given to him by his aunt but now is not working
it is not a luxury for us but a necessity.
Any help will be appreciated
