okay, so i have a t-mobile "pre-paided" or "pay as you go" acount, and i wanted to know if you can use any t-mobile phone and just switch my simcard. Because on the t-mobile site there are certain phone for that plan or whatver.because i wanted to get a phone off ebay and just switch my simcard will it work?anyone know?

Yes. You can use ANY phone that you want that has a sim card slot and it will work the same.

T-Mobile phones should work with any t-moible plans, be it pre paid or not. But I am not sure. I think you should call customer service (611 on your phone). they are very helpful and it is easy to use. I called to unlock my sidekick, and found it very informative. Give it a try.
