...the Sites? I just got a cell phone with a plan from Telus. It is a KOODO phone and I wanted a free ringtone because I had heard that it was possible instead of paying $4.00 for one. Is this actually possible? if so then can you give me some more info on "how to". If not what can I do to get a ringtone thats isn't one of the preprogramed ones.

Create your own ringtone!

Well that is if your cell phone allows dld and stores music or files. If you can dld sound on your cell phone and it allows you to play or to choose as a ringtone, then you can create your own.

What i do: I dld http://www.nch.com.au/wavepad/masters.html or any other sound file editor would do. Then, you pick your favorite part of your favorite song, you cut the rest and you got yourself a personalised ringtone!

Then all you do is transfer that sound/ringtone to your cell phone and edit sound options.
