Which service is better? ATT's 3G service or the EVDO service provided by

Verizon Wireless and US Cellular? Our little town just got 3G from ATT and my friend has US Cellular and I have ATT. His phone says EV on it and mine says 3G. Just wondering which one is better because he's getting on my nerves.
