Is it possible to get your number changed? Long story short, there's a few people I'd rather not talk to anymore.

Just erase those people you don't want, off your contacts list. Or just don't answer the calls.

Yes it is possible to have your cell number changed with Verizon Wireless, if the account is listed in your name, if the account is part of a Family Plan then only the Master on the account can change this number.

There is a $25.00 Service charge to have this done, but it can be done. Call the 1-800 Number, or call 611 * on your cell phone and you will be connected with Customer Service.

If you have never changed your number in the past the Customer Service rep. might waive this fee for you, if you tell him that you are getting a lot of harrasing calls, if they choose not to waive this fee then ask for a supervisor, and make your request of him. To foster goodwill with a customer the Supervisor might waive the fee.
