...analog towers shutting down soon anyway? Looking to buy a new phone with Verizon and wondered if I should go all-digital or still get one that has analog capability. I sometimes travel in rural areas (Monterey Coast, rural 101, etc.) and want maximum coverage. But I gathered that Verizon was going to shut down analog cell towers soon, and if so, I wouldn't bother with tri-mode.

well they have been saying that for years. i thought they were all down. lol. i would get a tri-mode with analog atleast for now.
