How much could your phone possibly cost that you'd go through insurance anyway?? Most deductibles are $500.00. Have your brother replace it. I dont know how old you are but if he is still living at home, have your parents enforce the fact that he needs to replace it. If not, then tell him you're using his until he buys you a new one!

i think they would only change it if was messed up from the beginning ,like a defect or something

make sure its dried out all the way && dont tell them that it gt ruined by gettin thrown in the pool just say that u dont know why its doin watever's wrong with it cuz 1 of my friends ruined 1 of my phones by accidently dropping it in a glass of water && i made sure its was all dried out && i took it back && they gave me a new one
