Do verizon cell phones work in Australia? I will be traveling there and need to know if it will....and if i wont....is there any way i can make it work?!

Does your verizon phone have a sim card? Most people I know that have verizon tell me they dont have a sim card, so im going to infer that your doesnt have one.. You can rent a phone offline and they send it to you & stuff.. Otherwise you can just buy a phone card down there and use that to call back to america.
