Is there an universal number that I can call to leave a message on a Verizon cell

phone? Is there a number that I can call to leave a message on a verizon cell phone without having to call the actual cell phone number. I work nights and my friends and family work during the day. I would like to leave them messages without having to wake them up with a cell phone ringing.
