I really want a LG Voyager but I really don't need the mobile TV or music player on it. Long story short my parents don't want to spend unneccessary money.

I have the Voyager actually. I LOVE IT! The Mobile TV and Music Player are optional. Actually, all the music on my phone I put on there from my PC. You can buy an additional memory card. Mine is 1GB and I have SO much on there! I do pay extra for a data package; which I use for email, unlimited pix, flix, and text and VZW Navigator. However, the other features you don't have to use. Also - you can always watch the promo channel for FREE on mobile TV.

Be ready to up your text message plan though, if you are into texting. This is by far the EASIEST phone to text on that I've ever had!!!

I would def suggest the phone.

get the phone without the TV plan, and you can download music on to it from your computer for free, so use that
