The motorola phones are decent, getting better after a few years of poor quality products. I have been using the enV made by LG and LOVE it. If your teen is going to be doing a lot of text messaging it is very user friendly for that because it has a full keyboard. It also has all the same features as the motorolas (mp3 player) and has room for a memory card.

The LG enV can be used with Verizon.

I am 12 and I have had a razr for two weeks. I LOVE IT!! My older brother also has one, and he has ruined 4 phones in 2 years. I think the razr is pretty good though. I think the MotoKrazr or the Chocolate would be great. I think those are really good phones, or so I have heard.

i suggest go with a chocolate ( if your teen is a little matured ) since it needs some car if not then just gate a Razr , still good for FREE with cash back so that you can use that money later if something happens to the phone.
