I just got a new replacement phone for $50 and when i text people it only sometimes works same thing with calling. Anyone else have this problem and what should i do?

Sounds like you got a bum phone. A lot of times they'll give you a refurbished phone. The one I had worked absolutely wonderful though...no problems whatsover.
I even (accidentally) dropped it in a toilet at the Zoo. After it had a day to dry out, I couldn't believe that it still worked!

I would call them and tell them the problems you're having.
