what cell phone should i get from verizon wirerless?

ok....so my contract is going to be up in may of 09' and i want to get a really cool cell phone. i love to text and.....well that's about it! i talk on my cell phone but i try not to run the bill up

so can anyone help me? i just really am looking at the LG Dare, or the LG Glide.....
