Default Why does my phone always say "Verizon Wireless" when someone calls and...

...when I turn on the phone? Is there a way to turn it off? And why does it do it? Or does it supposed to do that? =/ I find it a little annoying...

Because its a VERIZON WIRELESS phone. Its suppose to do that, not all phones do only some. Try going into settings and fixing it. At least it dosen't say sprint or tmobile. * shudder. * I wish I was on verizon. I'm switching next month.
