me and my brother is getting a family plan and we have to pay 250 upfront to activate and all that. we was getting a free phone and the 40 dollar plan. im getting 1500 free text so i can text my girlfriend on a cingular fone. can i text verizon phones for free? what would i have to pay for on my first bill? and whats the taxes in PA like?

You can text/call verizon people for free. You first bill will knock you to the floor. It can be up to 6 weeks of a bill at once (since they choose your cycle date.) Ask for an estimate of your first bill before walking out the door so you know what to expect. Also, you don't HAVE to pay an activation fee. That is negotiable and will save you 30 bucks. I hope this helps. I would plan on my first bill being $80 to be on the safe side. Don't forget, tell them you won't pay an activation fee!

verizon is horrible! they pinned me with a 1000 dollar NO LIE bill. i called to up my minutes to a higher plan and my next bills still said i had the same amount of minutes. i was charged an insane amount of money and this was not my fault at all. i called to see what happend and they said that they saw i did call, but no record of any changes to my account!!!! so that messed my credit up pretty bad, theres nothing i could do about it. its rediculous b/c its not my fault it was theirs and i have to pay for it. dont get verizon for real! i have t-mobile and its the best service i have ever had! i have free long distance, unlimited txt, fav 5, so many cool features for a low price!!!!! good luck!
