Default Question about Verizon Wireless Cell Phone Plans?

OK, here is the deal. Currently I am with my parent's family plan for my Verizon service. Now that I have a full time job, I want to get out of the family plan and have my own plan with Verizon Wireless. So here are my questions...

1. How much would it cost me to get out of the family plan and get my own individual plan with Verizon Wireless?

2. Would I be eligible to get a new phone under my new plan even if I upgraded back in March of 2008?

Thanks for the help!

It won't cost you anything to get out of the Family Plan. You need your parents to contact Verizon and have them approve an Assumption of Liability to release your number and then you have up to 30 days to get on your own plan.

As for getting a new phone - IDK. Check with the Verizon dealer.
