Verizon wireless phone problem ?

My contract expires on 1/9/2009.. (the 2 year one) can i go in today 9/7/09 and upgrade to get my new phone? or do i have to wait till 1/9/2009?

you'd have to wait till the contract expires, that way you can get the new every two.
