Default Am I able to switch and Ampd Razr phone to Verizon Wireless?

Hi,

With Ampd going out of business, am I able to switch over my Motorola Razr pay as you go phone to Verizon Wireless' pay as you go service?

I know that I've read things about MVNO and CDMA but don't quite understand what that's all about. I know that Ampd and Verizon were connected in some way so I'm hoping that it can be done.

Thanks in advance!

Since amps when out of business , yes you can switch to any provider you want. Only thing is that they will check our credit before starting a new service. Go to http://cellphonesmarket.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=3 and find a phone and just apply. Have fun
