area as the actual Verizon monthly? service (contract)? I was thinking of switching over to Verizon - the actual monthly service, but wanted to buy one of those tracfones/ prepaid cells just to test it out, so I was wondering is it the same thing and does it offer pretty much the same great features?

yes pretty much b/c its the same company but if you want to make sure to be positive you can always call thre free 1-88 number.

you cant ge the same phones and the coverage isn't so great. i dont think you can put music or navigation on it.

I checked into that myself. The plan is different for prepaid or credit risk customers. Its much higher. Verizon has recently relaxed their credit requirements. In some cases there is no deposit for customers whom have been turned down in the past.
