I just bought a Verizon Wireless CDM 8945 Cell phone.....I have a question....?

I know you can download Music from VCAST on it from the phone or my PC through the internet. But...can I download songs to my phone from my CD's I have on my computer, without going to VCAST? I have the music essentilas kit ordered.
