Default Verizon Wireless users. Any tips you can give me on "requesting" the last...

...4 digits on a new plan & new phone? I know the last four digits I want & they are not being used at the time. I actually have four more sets I have chosen & none are being used. I just want to use one of them. I'm an existing Verizon user but am going to add a new phone AND a new number separate from existing my plan. All that checked out OK. I (me) just want to CHOOSE the last four digits & have heard it's an act of congress to get this done. Verizon says to get my plan, order my phone, THEN request a new number. To me that is stupid because then I may be stuck with what number they auto-generated. So, are there any keywords, phrases or departments you can suggest to make this happen or to make for an easier process? Any tips will be much appreciated.
PS I want it spell something is why. It is for a new business.
Thank You
