Is there any way to change the "internals" of a verizon cell phone so that it...
...would be like changing a simcard My boyfriend has the white chocolate phone from verizon. My cousin had the black chocolate on a family plan with her boyfriend. They broke up, and he canceled her line so she gave us the phone so we could change out if we wanted. We called customer service to activate the phone on his number and they told us that the phone had been reported stolen, so it couldnt be activated. I guess my cousin's exboyfriend reported it as stolen out of spite because she broke up with him. Is there any way to change the esn or mied or whatever it is so that i can program the black phone to work on the white phone's esn number? Ive been reading forums but they use technical cell terms that i dont understand.
No, there's not, and if there is, it's illegal. The ESN is like the phone's social security number, and it's inaccessible just so people can't do exactly what you're trying to do.
