Verizon cell phone?

I just got a RAZR 2 months ago and now the screen is broken. I was online and found out that new phones can be very exspensive without the contract. I have a contract going right now and was wondering how much it would be to get a LG chocolate. I really dont want to spend 300 dollars on a new phone.
