v3c verizon cell phone recording help!?

Whenever I record something on my phone uder the "record new" setting and I set it as a ringtone, it becomes very soft and quiet so I can't hear it. Is there any way to up the volume on these? Ye, I have turned up full volume on my phone. Thanks!
