Is the Apple iPhone any good?

if you are in the uk then it depends what you want your phone to do.

* you cannot forward a text

* you cannot take a video....only a photo

* you have to go online to recieve mms download to pc then put in itunes to transfer to phone

* you cannot bluetooth files to/from other phones.

the ipod is great though

No, it's not that good. The iPhone is Apples first phone so they don't know much about them. And not starting off with easier phones was difficult for them. It blacks out if you touch buttons repeatetly... That's why Apple might make another new and improved iPhone with more memory and extras. Of they make one it's gonna be about $800. So I don't think you should get it.

It is really sweet (my uncle has one and i was playing around with it about 2 weeks ago) but it sucks that the only carrier it has is At&t/cingular. I personally had a bad experience with them and i wont go back. Verizon is the carrier for me they have been the best i have ever had and i have had at&t, nextel, and verizon. but otherwise its one of the best phones out there. if you do happen to go with verizon check out the LG Voyager that the next phone i am getting it seems like one step down from an iphone but it has somethings that an iphone doesn't also in late march or early april LG is comming out with the Prada which is just like the iphone check both out on youtube

yes its awesome. I love mine. and when there is updates you can just plug it into itunes and get new software.
