present from my mom..? I have heard many rumours about unlocked iPhones, and I was just wondering if anybody could give me a bit of insight on weather it matters or not that its unlocked. And also, if I have troubles with the unlocked phone, could I not just take it to a store and get it repaired and changed to contract straight away? Thank you.

I'm not sure about the store helping you. But couldn't you just go to the menu and lock it?? Like how you lock regular phones.
