its overpriced and gimmicky and they are going to break like hell for the first six months (all new apple products do, seems like everything apple makes suffers from broken screens all the time the past few years). And they won't be able to keep developing up to date software programs for it, closed mobile platforms never do...

I want one soooo bad. But, I'm a college student who only works part time for 8 months out of the year, and I just bought a Mercedes, so I think I've got my hands a little full for right now. Maybe when I start law school in two years.

Ok, I think it is a really good phone with allot of accessories! You can do anything on it! Everyone needs to have one! It is taking forever though to come out! Even though it is like 500 dollars I want one!

I would also love to have one, but, just like you said, if you can't wait or if you are looking for a more viable (but just as capable) alternative, I can suggest you this phone from Dopod, the M700. It has many similarities to Apple's iPhone, such as the Music Manager, which really looks similar to the iPod's menus. Some differences between them is, the M700's screen is a little smaller, and it only comes with a 256MB internal memory. The good thing though is you can expand the memory via a memory card.

i think its gonna be extremely frustrating without an actual keypad, just a touch screen. i would hate that. i dont want one. i want a sidekick or something with windows mobile on it...

First of all...

Camera - 2 megapixels, C'mon! So common... Get a nokia N95 or SonyEricsson K810i

Music Player - Who cares if you can flip stuff + all these kool things, a phone is not meant to be listened to music like crazy or the battery will die very fast! Thats why there are iPods itself or Mp3's

Video Calling - No 3G calling, soon almost all phones must have this, plus the phone is expensive... It must have it, boo! NEXT!

First Phone - It is the 1st phone from a company? How do you know that company is "Just" good at music players? their mac's are not as good... It may be the same as for phones

Simcard + battery - They have a sealed up sim card and battery, so if ur phone freezes or sim malfuncions, you have to send it all the way back to the repair factory and wait...

Personally : Its expensive, its big! Just don't like it

I'd love to have one, I've always been a fan of apple, but not for that price. Gonna wait for the hype to die down. I have a friend that's planning on getting one so I'll take his for a test drive first.
