Default I want to buy an Apple Iphone 16GB Unlocked from the US?
I was thinking of getting my cousin from the US to buy me an apple iphone through the apple website and post it to me.. It's much cheaper than buying it through ebay. But before doing so I was wondering if anyone could help me:

1) Is it possible/ easy to unlock the new apple iphone 16gb.. if you know how let me know =)

2) Are the google maps compatible with Australian maps?

Thats all really..
