Hello,

I'm looking to get an Apple iPhone in April with my tax refund money. Does anyone know if there are any planned substanital technical updates or a newer physical version coming out in 2008, aside from application updates that can just be downloaded? If anyone knows of anything significant in the next six months, I'm thinking I can probably be, and should be, patient? Not that I think the technology is shaky, it just feels so delicate and new that I wonder if there's a better version on the immediate horizon.

Currently the hugest "oops" for the iPhone is that it isn't 3G. It's looking like they are planning to launch the 3G iPhone this June(ish). Wait for that. The 16G just came out about a month ago so that wont increase for some odd months.

I'm sure when they launch that, there will be a few other upgrades to it as well. There isn't much information about it but that's the biggest thing.
