The price range is $449.00 - $650.00 USD. Apple is notorious for keeping tight price controls, so you probably will never see a really cheap IPhone.

Yes, if you unlock it it will work in any country. I heard a news report of them becoming popular in China. However, there is no legitimate way of unlocking the phones, you have to hack them, which often can make things complicated.

Edit: I would like to put in my reccomendation for a good smartphone from HTC. I use my smartphone to do everything the Iphone can do (plus mine has bluetooth profile stereo headphones which the Iphone does not). I think MicroSD cards go up to 8gb now too.

i think its about 400$ but you can cheak anywhere for the price ,, also no i dont think the iphone will work in vary much places locked but you can unlock it with jail break , also if you just wanted something like the iphone back wernt suck on it you could get a CECT hip phone 168+ ifone whats a rely good clone thats pritty much like it but it works in alot of places and on different networks its about the chepest i've seen it 140$
