Was apple a little bit stupid for releasing the iPhone in asia late? Because asians are the masters of illegal cracking.

Anyway, since Apple left the iPhone release in asia 1 year late, they gave a golden oppotunity to the pirates to crack the iPhone and now the iPhone is very common here in Malaysia with full third-party after-sales support. What makes it worse for Apple is that everyone participates in piracy, even the cops buy fake software!

The iPhone is now so common in Malaysia that when they release the iPhone everyone will just probably say "meh, already got one"

Who agrees with me on this one?

PPS: My iPhone I only pay the equiv of USD 33 each month. I fell sorry for those with locked iPhones

They weren't stupid it's commonly known that Apple hate Asians. Why else would they pay young Chinese children a wage that is barely enough to buy bread with to construct their overpriced computers?
