Hello. I was wondering if it was better to buy an iPhone from the Apple store.. i live 20 minutes away from one.. or the AT&T store. If i buy it from Apple they won't ask me about my AT&T account (OR DO THEY?) this way i dont have to pay the 175 dollars to cancel my current contract with at&t.. (OR DO I?) is it just like i go to the apple store pick up the iPhone 3G and pop in my AT&T sim or will the iphone tell me i need to start a new contract and get the unlimited data plan .. ANOTHER THING.. does the Apple Store have more 3G iPhones or will AT&T... Does the apple store have a Midnight opening or something... for the 3G iphone.. Will there be AT&T people at the apple store on release day?? Im only 15 can i lie and somehow get my own cell phone plan?? (Not pay as you go) Im already on a family plan with AT&T with my step dad.. how would i go about getting UNLIMITED DATA for just me.. does the data plan come with text messages?? How much would Unlmted Txt and Data cost together?

Well, AT&T has a new policy with the 3G iPhone, whereby you have to mandatorily activate the iPhone in their store. You cannot activate it using the iTunes application. They are doing this to prevent unlocking, and to help out some novice customers. Hence, I would recommend you to go to the AT&T store.
