which phone is better? the lg vu or the apple iphone 3G?

I had the regular iPhone before but it froze up on my a lot. I want a phone that wont freeze up and I want to know your opinion on the phones. Im definitely getting one of them. Im just not sure on which one to get.

Im just not sure on which one to get. Right now Im leaning more towards the lg vu because i like the way its text messaging is set up better.
