I have At&t and my phone is a Blackberry Pearl i have it with a 2 year contract and i will have 1 year left on the contract, Can i still buy the new Apple iPhone 3g for $199 when it comes out and be able to use it? Like just insert my SIM card?

Don' think so. When you buy an iphone you have to choose one of their 3 year contracts.

Yes and no. You can add the iPhone 3G for 199 as a new line in your plan. You can't put your SIM card that is in your Blackberry Pearl in the iPhone. iPhones have special SIM card. You can't put a say a Razr's SIM card in an iPhone but you can put an iPhones SIM card in a Razr. Get it? You could unlock the iPhone and put the Blackberry SIM card in it BUT you would have to pay FULL retail price for it which would cost about 399 and 499 dollars depending on which one you would get. So to make it simple and cheap, just add a line. Otherwise don't even get it at all.
