im thinking of buyin the apple iphone when it comes out on the 11th of july.. is it any good?

I suggest watching the WWDC 2008, and then you'll know if it's "any good".

Well, the old (first) iPhones were great, but nobody knows yet how good they'll be compared to the new ones. Theres so much talk and so much expected of apple and the new iPhone b/c they're both two huge things. I THINK, it wont be as good, but if it is, it will just be AS good. There is so much discussion about the upgrades, faster internet, and modifications they've made (i.e. scientific calculator, ability to flip home screen), but many critics, and people researching the phone don't think there will be many other new things other than that. Also, apparently, in the near future after purchasing the phone, you would have to spend any amount of money around $150, for all the services and etc, no matter what your plan with AT&T is!!!

I'm considering buying the new one, but I'm not sure. I guess we'll have to wait a couple weeks and see what reviews it gets...If its not that great, go for the first model, i have it and it works very well
