If i wanted to buy a Apple Iphone off my friend our carries are Cingular?

do i HAVE TO use the plan specifically for IPHONE or can i just use my existing plan and put my cingular chip in the iphone?

You can probably use the same plan(not 100% sure) but if you use the iphone like it's made for using the internet....

your bill is going to be huge! that's why they say get the unlimited data package, because mostly the iphone is to use the internet quickly on your phone.
but if you want to be a poser and just have an iphone to show people, go for it, just don't use the internet features.
